Eye disease screening
Your eyes’ health is our business!
Visual health can be compromised by the presence of eye diseases, which prevent the eyes from functioning properly.
An optometrist’s expertise is then relevant to detecting and treating the disease, as well as ensuring effective healing. Hence the importance of a careful eye exam, to diagnose a pathology, treat it and follow-up on it appropriately, as well as prepare a complete report and an adequate referencing.
For more complex cases, the presence of several health professionals, in addition to an optometrist, such as a medical specialist or a family doctor, is sometimes required to monitor the evolution of an eye disease.
Our experts focus on 12 eye diseases:
- Cataracts
- Conjunctivitis
- Retinal tear and detachment
- Macular degeneration (AMD)
- Diabetes and retinopathy
- Glaucoma

- Degenerative myopia
- Styes, blepharitis or chalazions
